Free AbaF Funding Seminar

AbaF in conjunction with Parramatta City Council and Information Cultural Exchange invite you to attend a Woodside Better Business seminar on how AbaF and the Australia Cultural Fund (ACF) can help you raise funds.

The first part will provide an overview of AbaF’s services and programs designed to connect the arts, business and donors. The second part will explain how you can obtain tax deductions on donations made to support your projects by using the ACF.

Ideal for Individual practising artists and not-for-profit cultural organisations without DGR status.

Australia Cultural Fund (ACF) topics

learn about tax deductibility and its implications receive advice on how to register to use the ACF discover how to raise donations for your projects get tips for generating donations from individuals within existing networks

Presenter

This session will be presented by John Godfrey, Manager AbaF NSW. John has experience of festival and theatre management with Wellington’s Summer City; The Sydney Festival; the Edinburgh International Festival. John has worked, trained and provided consultancy in the arts, culture and education in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He has a BA in opera studies, an MSc in Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Arts Administration.
