Free film workshop in Fairfield

» This September ICE will be running a free four-day digital storytelling course for African young people from the Fairfield area. The participants will work with experienced Sydney filmmakers to learn about script writing, sound recording, digital photography, filmmaking, editing and online film preparation. More »

Parkroar: the website

» For the past year, parkour practitioner Ali Kadhim has been based at ICE thanks to support from the Australia Council’s Emerging Producers In Community (EPIC) program. You can now check out the brand new Parkroar website to see a selection of photos, videos, maps and other documentation from the year-long project. More »

Lattice::Sydney Roundup

» Earlier this year, Alice Angus and Orlagh Woods from UK-based artist-led studio Proboscis undertook a three and a half week residency at ICE – supported by the British Council – to work with a select group of emerging young artists and cultural practitioners from Western Sydney. Horn Island Project

Changing Lives short film wins at Reelife

ICE is pleased to announce that one of the short films created as part of the Changing Lives project has won Best Animation at the Reelife Film Festival. ICE plays host to visiting scholar

ICE is pleased to be hosting a visit from Shing Au-Yeung from the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong. Shing is visiting Australia for five months to undertake research for his PhD on the relationship between arts funding in Australia and Hong Kong. More »
