Minto stories on the way

The Remembering Minto project has gone the ‘production’ phase as we count down a launch date for the book and website in April next year.

An engaging and diverse range of interviews, memoirs and stories have been collected, which look set to reveal a side of Minto that few ever get the chance to see. These pieces are now in the process of being selected and prepared for the book and website. A wide range of images and videos documenting the last 30 years of Minto will also be included.

There is such a rich and diverse array of stories that the Remembering Minto book looks set to be an engaging read of 100 pages or so!

The book will be distributed to all those who have been so active in the project, and will also be distributed to residents and former residents of Minto. It will also be available to other interested people and agencies.

Now that we are in the production phase, the Remembering Minto Office at KoKo’s Place is now closed. For further information about the project, contact Lena or Caitlin at Information and Cultural Exchange on 9897 5744 or via email

Remembering Minto is a partnership between Minto residents, the Remembering Minto Group and ICE and is supported by the NSW Government – Department of Housing.
