Wanted: Trainers & Creative Personnel

Trainers, Creative Personnel, Musicians, Digital Media Practitioners

ICE ELIGIBILITY LIST

ICE is seeking to widen the scope of artists and practitioners we are able to consider for short turn-around engagement as trainers for SWITCH and on creative projects.

We are compiling an Eligibility List of creative people & trainers with skills in digital media and experience in working with communities.

We want creative, community-minded people with passion and skills (as trainers and/or practitioners) in the following areas:

  • new media arts
  • digital film & video
  • digital sound
  • music – composition, production
  • sound, radio, podcasting
  • multimedia
  • digital photography
  • blogging, vlogging
  • digital networks
  • digital storytelling
  • podcasting
  • mobile and online content delivery
  • community cultural development & arts facilitation

You should have experience in working sensitively with diverse communities. Trainers should have experience in working with people with complex learning needs. Experience working with youth and/or proficiency in a community language is also highly regarded.

SUBMITTING AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Your EOI should comprise:

  • a brief Written Statement (no more than 1 page) according to the Guidelines
  • your resume (not more than 3 pages)
  • 2 current, relevant referees

Your EOI should be marked ‘confidential’ and addressed to Lena Nahlous, Director, Information & Cultural Exchange & SWITCH.

Submit your EOI by Wednesday 31 January 2007.

The Eligibility List represents a new process for considering new trainers and creative personnel at ICE. Inclusion in the Eligibility List will not automatically lead to work.
