Aunty Edna Watson is a Darug elder from the Boorgerongal Clan and is also an internationally respected artist.

SPEAKERS
Corroboree: organising Indigenous artists and voices in Western Sydney
Lily Shearer, Performance Broker. Lily works at the Performance Space and has performed with the Aboriginal and Islander Dance Theatre. She is a founding member of the Corroboree Indigenous Arts Collective.
Working locally and regionally with Indigenous artists
Kon Gouriotis OAM, Executive Director, Casula Powerhouse & Liverpool Regional Museum. Kon has worked extensively with Indigenous artists and communities and was the founding curator of Casula Powerhouse.
An artist’s perspective
Aroha Groves, Indigenous Artist. Aroha is an emerging installation artist based in Liverpool and is the coordinator of the Made on the Kitchen Table project.
Income generation through partnerships for Indigenous and Pacific Arts
Simon Wellington, General Manager, Urban Theatre Projects. Simon has over 12 years experience in arts management. UTP has experience in running successful theatre projects with Australian Indigenous communities in Western Sydney.

Dubbed the ‘the gentle giant of country-soul’ and the first Aboriginal person to win a Golden Guitar at Tamworth Country Music Festival.
