An inspiring multimedia and performance event, CD and book launch.

7pm Thursday
31 May

Bangarra Dance Theatre
The Wharf, Pier 4/5 Hickson Rd
Walsh Bay, Sydney Harbour

An official event of the 2007 Sydney Writers’ Festival

Young artists from Western Sydney present an inspiring showcase of lyrics, writing, performance, moving image, projections and rhyme.

One of Australia’s leading hip-hop artists and lyricists, MC Trey has been based at ICE since May 2006, working with young people from Western Sydney on a series of hip-hop and music projects – all with the support of Vodafone Foundation’s World of Difference program.

This exciting event is the culmination of this work! We’re also excited to be working with the Writers’ Festival to bring hip-hop and contemporary literature into the mix!

Be inspired! Be there!
