Africa On Screen
Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) offered Introduction to Video Production workshops for people from the Burundian and Rwandan communities in July at the Fairfield Community Resource Centre.
Fairfield’s Burundian and Rwandan communities got screening in July at ‘Introduction to Video Production’ workshops with Information & Cultural Exchange (ICE). Held at Fairfield Community Resource Centre, the workshops were part of ICE’s Africa On Screen initiative supported by the NSW Film & Television Office and Fairfield City Council.
They covered digital video techniques – camera craft, sound recording and lighting – and participants explored scenarios and experiences to develop three short video works. “When you tell your story to a camera,” said one participant, “you can reach a lot more people.”
