SWEET PAIN Film and Discussion
SWEET PAIN film & discussion for African communities about domestic violence
Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) in partnership with Fairfield City Council Community Safety and Crime Prevention program invite people from Sudanese, Burundian and Congolese communities to a screening of SWEET PAIN followed by focus group discussion about domestic violence.
When and Where?

2 sessions: 10am – women & girls
1pm – men & youth
SWEET PAIN is a short film made by local filmmaker Bernard Amour Makeny, which looks at issues of domestic violence.
After the film, we will have group discussion about the issues in the film.
Bernard, along with ICE and Fairfield City Council will invite people to express their opinions. We would like to record these discussions and produce a video about responses to these issues in the community.
Refreshments provided. Please register to let us know how many people are coming.
