Parkour and Urban Dance: Workshop Presentation
In two simultaneous workshops led by professional artists, young residents of Kingswood Park are currently learning the very latest moves from internationally renowned dance instructor Darrio Phillips and Ali Kadhim, Master of Parkour and Artist in Residence at ICE.
Presented by Penrith City Council in association with ICE, the workshops are part of the Neighbourhood Stories project within Penrith City Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal Program.
Neighbourhood Stories, is a new initiative working with selected local communities to tell their stories and strengths, in creative ways through engagement projects. Over four workshops throughout January, young people are encouraged to overcome obstacles through the art of movement.
We invite you to attend the culminating workshop presentation on 24 January at 11.30am at Kingswood Park Public School, Caloola Avenue, Penrith, to witness this inspirational journey of young people and artists, and celebrate the vibrant creativity within our community!
Please RSVP by Friday 18 January, essential for catering.
