A drop of West at TropFest
Several Western Sydney filmmakers were shortlisted in the top 60 TropFest films for 2008.
After attending the TropWest information session for young Western Sydney filmmakers, a number of Western Sydney filmmakers entered Sony TropFest and TropJunior.
My Brother, My Sanctuary, a short film by Bankstown filmmaker Johnny Tran and sponsored by ICE, was one of three TropFest entries that were selected to win the THE BRIGHT SPARK AWARD. Johnny has now been awarded a scholarship with the Participate Film Academy.
