Wanted: Trainers and Creative Personnel
The ICE Eligibility List
ICE is seeking to widen the scope of artists and practitioners we are able to consider for short turn-around engagement as trainers for Switch and on creative projects.
We are planning a series of training workshops to take place during the 2nd half of 2008 with a focus on creative digital skills in video, film, design as well as radio, sound and music production.
We are re-compiling an Eligibility List of potential personnel with a range of digital and creative skills as well as experience in working with communities.
We are seeking creative, community-minded people with passion and skills (as trainers and/or practitioners) in the following areas:
- Digital Photography
- Podcasting and Recording Vocals using Pro Tools / Garageband / Toast
- Digital Video Camera Skills
- Lighting for video
- Website Design and Dreamweaver
- Scriptwriting
- Short Film and Video Making
- Documentary Film Making
- Producing – Documentary / Drama
- Pitching a Creative Idea
- Digital Storytelling
- Photoshop / Illustrator
- Pro Tools
- Final Cut Pro / IMovie
- Web Streaming
- File Conversion for upload to internet and other broadcast formats inc. mobile phones
- Blogging and online publishing
- Online social networking
We are looking for people with expertise in working sensitively with diverse communities and with complex learning needs. Trainers should have experience in working with people with complex learning needs. Experience working with young people and/or proficiency in a community language will be highly regarded.
Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI)

We ask that you submit (via email or post)
- a brief Written Statement (no more than 1 page – please don’t use a small font) according to the Guidelines
- your resume (not more than 3 pages)
- two current, relevant referees
To be considered for the Eligibility List, please do not exceed page limits or send audio/visual material. We make seek further information / material may from candidates at a later stage.
Your EOI should be marked ‘confidential’ and addressed to Lena Nahlous, Director
Submit your EOI by 5pm on Wednesday April 30 2008.
