SAFF Directors at Ayam Beirut Al Cinemai'iya Arab Film Festival
ICE’s Sydney Arab Film Festival (SAFF) Directors Mouna Zaylah and Fadia Abboud (pictured below with The Hon. Ms Virginia Judge MP) were recently invited to Lebanon where they attended the Ayam Beirut Al Cinemai’iya Arab Film Festival. Their trip was sponsored by Etihad Airways.
“Our visit provided a wonderful opportunity to build the international profile of SAFF, and also to make contacts and source content for future programs. It also gave us an opportunity to represent ICE and SAFF internationally – and to connect with digital media artists and artsworkers who produce work similar to ours,” said Mouna Zaylah.
The Festival is a major international event hosting a several hundred filmmakers from Arab and non-Arab backgrounds from the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
