Refugee Flicks in Fairfield

As part of Youth Refugee Day at Fairfield High School, MC Trey presented Digital Stories created by ICE’s Refugee Allstars. An audience of over 250 young people and community members celebrated the event which was presented by Fairfield High School Intensive English Centre and the NSW Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance Inc. Lena Nahlous named Creative Catalyst

ICE Executive Director Lena Nahlous has been named as one of Sydney’s key Creative Catalysts as part of the inaugural Creative Sydney festival. ICE collaborators Ali Kadhim and Matt Huynh were also named in the list, selected from over 700 people suggested by creative leaders. More »

UK Artist drops in and switches on

International music artist and producer Spider Johnson is in Australia as part of Brian Eno’s Luminous Festival, performing with Lee Scratch Perry at the Sydney Opera House. He’s taken some time out of his hectic schedule to record music with some of the young music artists from ICE’s Urban Music Project. More »
