Chick Flicks: What's Your Story?
This October ICE is running CHICK FLICKS: What’s Your Story? a mini-filmmaking project for young women between the ages of 12 – 25 who live in the Hawkesbury area.
DETAILS
The workshops are free and will run for five days during the school holidays from October 6 – 10, 9:30am – 3:30pm at Hawkesbury Skills Inc, 23 Bosworth St, Richmond [Opposite the Women’s Cottage].
The young women will gain introductory skills in script-writing, sound recording, filmmaking, editing and photography. At the end of the workshops, all participants will have produced their own ‘digital story’. Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase their work online and screen their work at the public launch at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery in November.
Participants will be provided with refreshments, lunch and assistance with transportation through the local community bus service. Bookings are essential as we have limited spaces.
