Support ICE at Project 5
» Come on down to Project 5 at Cockle Bay from 17 – 19 December (7-9pm) and 20 December (4-6pm) and see some of Sydney’s best live urban art in action. It’s a four-day live painting and hip-hop music event and the murals created this weekend will be sold at a charity auction in 2010, with proceeds going to support ICE’s programs for supporting young artists in Western Sydney. Launch: Yallah! What's Your Story? and Pacific Specific
» ICE is excited to be showcasing work from our Yallah! What’s Your Story? and Pacific Specific projects on the same fantastic night. This exciting event will feature digital stories, music clips and live performances by young people from Arab and Pacific communities Western Sydney. The event kicks off on Thursday 10 December from 6 – 9pm at the Auburn Community Development Network Shopfront. More »

On December 10 we held a joint launch for the Yallah! What’s Your Story? and Pacific Specific projects. The event, held at Auburn Community Development Network, was attended by more than 100 music lovers, film buffs, young people and family members. More »
Create Media: celebrating a stunning debut year
In 2009 Create Media debuted as a project that brought together talented, young refugees and migrants, and gave them the opportunity to develop their digital media craft as well as their future employment and business possibilities. So far, the project has been a stunning success! More »
Cybermohalla: new international connections between Delhi and Sydney
Earlier this month ICE and the Listening Project jointly hosted international guests from the acclaimed Cybermohalla project in India. Over 30 media practitioners, artists, cultural planners, community workers and researchers gathered to hear our guests talk about, screen and share some of the outcomes and practices of Cybermohalla and its locality labs in some of Delhi’s rapidly changing and disadvantaged neighbourhoods. ICE at Making Links 2009
ICE was a key partner in another successful Making Links conference in November. Linking individuals, organisations and groups working at the intersection of social action and IT, this year’s conference highlighted the theme of ‘sustaining communities in tough times.’ More »
