CALLOUT FOR FILM & DIGITAL WORKS
Communities making change.
Making Links: Where Social Action and Technology Converge – annual Film and Digital Arts Festival.
A callout for submissions of short films, documentaries and works from and about communities.
From 15-17 November 2010, the Making Links Conference will bring people from around Australia who are working, producing, researching and change-making in the field of community, digital media and social action.
Opening night of the conference will be a free two-hour open-air film and digital arts festival in Perth. It will involve not only conference participants but also be open to the public.
We invite submissions from filmmakers, artists, community and media arts practitioners, organisations and groups: documentary, digital stories, video clips, animation, short films: works that are created by, with and about communities; innovative projects using media to empower self-expression and change.
