Tone: Audio-Visual Experimental Exhibition
TONE: Audio-visual experimental works by Arab artists
“It is about negotiation and openness of opinions. It suggests there is no singular way of communication or conflict resolution but diversity of opinion about the Arab world and diaspora.”
- Khaled Sabsabi, Exhibition Curator
TONE features audio-visual experimental works by Arab artists, with a focus on the diversity and richness of Arab culture and stories. The exhibition provides insights into stories emerging from zones of conflict challenging representations.
TONE is presented by Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, in partnership with Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) as a parallel program to the 2007 Sydney Arab Film Festival
