Indu Balachandran — Manager, Creative Enterprise
INDU BALACHANDRAN Indu meandered into ICE as the inaugural Manager, Creative Enterprise. She holds a Master of Economics (Social Science), her thesis exploring the work and experience she gathered in rural India with women’s services. With a long history in international, indigenous and women in community development, and an old story in investment banking, Indu is driven by humanity and the importance of inclusion. Part of a clan that would put most to shame, she seems related to most South Indians in Sydney, and has two little boys named Ramakrishna and Siddhartha (taking a call on beauty over abbreviated convenience). Indu is a musician, plays the veena and sings Carnatic music. Oh, and is vegetarian.
