Do you want to learn how to expand you services, attract employment opportunities, and become a contractor or facilitator

Register to participate in a free 3-day workshop program that will take you through the steps of running a successful creative business.

The workshops will be delivered by Monica Davidson, author of Freelancing for Australians for Dummies, and NSW Creative Industries Business Advisor for the NSW Office of the Small Business Commissioner.

The workshop will cover the basics of solo-managing a creative enterprise, including:

  • Choosing the right business structure
  • The basics of managing money
  • ABN, insurance and superannuation
  • The basics of GST, tax invoices/deductions, dealing with the ATO
  • Contracts and pitching, agreements for sales, commissions, consignments
  • How to create the best possible set of terms and conditions
  • How to enforce your agreements
  • Marketing and the essentials of branding.
