In 2007, Ali Kadhim, ICE parkour artist in residence, received an Emerging Producers in Community (EPIC) grant from the Australia Council to work at ICE for a year. Parkour is a physical discipline which focuses on movement around obstacles and freerunning through the environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing, and jumping.

Football United uses football or, as we in Western Sydney call it, soccer as a tool for social inclusion, racial harmony and community development.
