Leaving Parramatta Station in the morning, we eagerly head by train to Town Hall Station. Many elevator rides later, we successfully manage to push all our prams out of the station and stroll through Hyde Park.
After plenty of selfies along the way, we finally arrive at the AGNSW to take part in a one hour creative play program organised by the friendly staff at the gallery. The children had a blast – a hands on experience surrounded by the colourful artworks at the gallery. It was a great day out for the mums too, experiencing a group cultural activity followed by a picnic lunch overlooking the ocean.
The highlight for me was 2 year old Benjamin attempting to climb a colourful Sol LeWitt sculpture while the standing guard pretended not to have a mild heart attack. Loved it! Looking forward to our future art excursions with the Family Creative Hub.
