All Girl Electronic | 7 Questions with Sara Tamim
ALL GIRL ELECTRONIC 2017 is drawing to a close and we’re ending on a high note as we present the emerging producers of the 2017 program at End of an AGE.
We asked the crew 7 questions so you can get to know a bit about them and their music, below are Sara’s answers.
7 Questions with Sara Tamim
- Where is your hood?
- What is your age?
- Who is your favourite music producer right now?
I really like Rainbow Chan at the moment after playing a show with her at ‘Girls Rock!’ Her new EP is amazing and the way she performs is WOW- what an inspiration.
- If you could pick a theme song for your life what would it be?
Tide Is High by Atomic Kitten. Because of the lyrics, ‘The tide is high but I’m holding on, I’m gonna be your number 1… I’m not the kind of girl who gives up just like that! Oh no!” Pretty much about me.
- What is the hardest part about making music?
I think, it’s the time you spend on it. I guess, with Ableton it feels like everyday I discover something new to do with it. And then, all of that takes practice. I think that’s the hardest thing- just learning all the time [laughs]
- What is the best part about making music?
I love the feeling of achieving something all on my own. So, the feeling of finishing a song, or performing it and everything going the way I want- is the best feeling ever.
- Describe your music in three words:
Bittersweet, thoughtful and sparkling.
You can catch Sara and the rest of the All Girl Electronic crew at the free, all-ages event, End of an AGE on December 2 at ICE. RSVP here: https://allgirlelectronic.floktu.com/
