Join award-winning writer and artist George Haddad in a conversation about Gunk Baby, a novel by Jamie Marina Lau.

The event will take place in the safe and welcoming space at Arts & Cultural Exchange (ACE). Directions are available here.

A Western Sydney Book Club explores books by contemporary authors, with an initial focus on Australian writing.

Monthly conversations about books led by guest authors, for readers, in and connected to Western Sydney.

About the Book

George Haddad will facilitate a conversation about Jamie Marina Lau’s novel.

George Haddad is an award-winning writer and artist practising on Gadigal land. His novella, Populate and Perish, was the winner of the 2016 Viva La Novella competition and his short story Kátharsis was awarded the 2018 Neilma Sidney Prize. Haddad is currently a doctoral candidate and sessional tutor at the Writing and Society Research Centre, Western Sydney University.
