With off the wall guitar riffs, unique tunings and psychedelic bass lines the MAXIMUM HEADROOM music videos are the perfect visual accompaniment to Club Weld’s eclectic musical style. Directed by video artists Alexander Smith and Heath Franco the videos launched in December last year with the first, Anthony’s Bad Biscuits, premiering on Noisy Music By Vice.
Using a variety of 80s analog video equipment Smith and Franco channeled their predilection for the strange to create what the staff at Noisey describe as:
“Imagine Sonic Youth made a Winamp visualiser and you're getting there.”
The videos accompanied Club Weld’s EP launch which premiered on Sydney's FBI Radio. Club Weld was formed by ASPECT in 2014 as a music making project and is housed at I.C.E. The club provides a space for musicians on the Autism Spectrum to work in the areas of digital and live music production and creation.
