Converse Create Auburn North - Information & Cultural Exchange

Converse Create Auburn North

Converse Create – Auburn North supports newly arrived migrant and refugee women living in and around Auburn to develop their English literacy skills. The facilitators use accessible methods of engagement which include embroidery, spice tea making, physical exercise and arts excursions to trigger opportunities of learning English via storytelling and creative writing.

The workshops are held during Term 1, 2019 at Auburn North Public School in partnership with Harmony House, where child-minding is provided.

Facilitators: Nisha Shrestha, Eddie Abd.

Converse Create Auburn North is delivered in partnership with Harmony House – Auburn North Public School.
