Digital Diasporas - Information & Cultural Exchange

Digital Diasporas

Digital Diasporas is an exciting new initiative that aims to establish a screen producers hub in Western Sydney. Creative teams from past I.C.E. Screen Cultures Programs will be supported and resourced to develop new, short-form digital content. As a screen producers hub, Digital Diasporas will coordinate the sharing of skills and resources to allow creatives to collectively work towards the development of new work and establish pathways to audiences – locally, nationally and internationally.

Rosie Lourde, Executive Producer for Digital Diasporas, brings a wealth of experience and international connections. Rosie was actor/producer on the landmark digital series ‘Starting from Now’, which has massed over 100 million views around the world with seasons 4 and 5 being sold to broadcast in Australia. Rosie is a Vice President of Women in Film and TV, NSW and was recently the Investment Manager of Online Production at Screen Australia overseeing government financing of short-form digital series and narrative XR.
