MAKE A ZINE (2018) - Information & Cultural Exchange

MAKE A ZINE (2018)

MAKE A ZINE is a free, rapid zine making workshop for young people. Work collaboratively to create a small press DIY publication full of your writing, collages, drawings and ideas. In the workshop you will produce a zine and walk away with the tools to do it yourself.
MAKE A ZINE will take you through idea generation to creation with every zine printed and distributed after the session.
Each workshop is 3 hours.
Registration is essential as places are limited to 10 people per workshop.
Workshops facilitated by Del Lumanta
Del is an artist specialising in printed media from Sydney and has graduated with an MFA from Sydney College of the Arts in 2017. Del forms scenarios between print, objects and space, with their work investigating the discourse surrounding printed forms from its historic context into the everyday. Del’s practice reveals a network of constellations that aim to recalibrate our relationship with printed media. They have exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne with recent shows at 55 Sydenham Rd, Knulp, Rearview, Firstdraft and Top Floor Wellington.
