Information + Cultural Exchange in association with Parramatta Park and with the support of PYT invites you to a creative development presentation of The Best Party You’ve Never Been To…, a transformative salve for the physical, psychological and emotional discombobulation wrought by Covid19, a new cultural event model designed for people to come together safely and without inhibitions.
At 4 pm on 14 and 15 October, on The Island at Parramatta Park, Karen Therese will lead twenty people as they shake dance and move in a shared multi sensorial experience. Mirabelle Wouters (Branch Nebula) will use Covid19 physical distancing guidelines to design an event space which ensures freedom of movement and sound designer James P Brown and experimental electronic musicians Liana Molina, Liliana Occhiuto, Ailsa Liu and Sol Yoga from I.C.E.’s New Age Noise Collective (NANC) – will design a revitalising soundtrack.
We would love you to take part. All you need to bring is yourself, wearing clothes and closed shoes that allow you to be comfortable and move around. And, after 55 minutes of moving with Karen Therese, we hope you will join us in a celebration at Parramatta Park’s Gatehouse Tea Rooms.
